Obligatory Year-End Overview!

Imago and other transformations

Somehow we have made it through another year, and while it was rather bumpy it was also quite productive for me.

Unexpectedly so!

weird fiction quarterlyWeird Fiction Quarterly is a new market specializing in 500-word flash fiction, and it is a lot of fun. I had four stories appear there–To Everything There Is a Season in the Spring 2023 issue, Something in the Water in Summer 2023, and Follow Me and Nature Walk in Fall & Halloween 2023.

Another flash piece, Sweets to the Sweet,  appeared in Billionaire Island: Cult of Dogs Vol. 2 #6.

And then there were the longer works in the more traditional anthologies: In the Grove in Azathoth: Ordo ab Chao from Trepidato Publishing, Angels in Amber in Chthonic Matter Vol. 1, Issue 3, and Oh Bury Me Not in Spirits & Ghouls Short Stories, and To Selareme in Lost Atlantis Short Stories, both from Flametree.

In addition to the nine new stories, 2023 also saw the release of my novella To the Shore, To the Sea from Hiraeth Publishing and my debut collection Imago and Other Transformations from Trepidatio.

In other news, I will have a few announcements to make in the next couple of months, just as soon as the ink is dry.

Thanks for reading along, and here’s to a Happy New Year for us all!
